I understand that the city of <br />Everett is holding a meeting Friday morning with Interfaith and Faith Lutheran Church and that the <br />main entity, Faith Family Village, is not invited to attend. I don't understand this meeting. I feel this <br />should not take place as planned. Faith Family Village has an excellent executive director in Ms. <br />Boroujerdi. <br /> <br />During the past few years my husband and I have made many donations for the purpose of helping <br />Faith Family Village (FFV) provide necessities and comfort items for the families to be housed at that <br />village. My contributions of time and items were intentionally donated for the village, not Interfaith. <br />Now I hear that Interfaith will be taking the village donations to their shelter, value village or <br />throwing in the trash because they believe FFV storage room is too crowded or the donations are <br />needed at Interfaith. <br />This does not make me happy and I am sure other donors feel the same way. No matter the excuse, <br />these donations do NOT belong to any, ANY, other facility. If the storage room is full, so what? The <br />families that stay there (at FFV) are given items to help make their transition from homelessness to <br />actual homes. Those families take many items with them, mostly with permission.
