Page 24 of 42 4/3/24 Agreement No. 2024-02 <br />f. Excessive soil damage is not permitted. Excessive soil damage is described in <br />clause H-17. <br /> <br />g. Purchaser will not have more than two skid trails open to active skidding at <br />any one time. All other skid trails used for skidding timber will be closed. <br /> <br />h. Once a skid trail is closed, Purchaser will not reopen a skid trail unless <br />approved in writing by the Contract Administrator. <br /> <br />i. Skid trails will be water barred at the time of completion of yarding, if <br />required by the Contract Administrator. <br /> <br />Purchaser shall not deviate from the requirements set forth in this clause without prior <br />written approval from the Contract Administrator. <br /> <br />H-17 Preventing Excessive Soil Disturbance <br /> <br />Operations may be suspended when soil rutting exceeds 12 inches as measured from <br />the natural ground line. To reduce soil damage, the Contract Administrator may <br />require water bars to be constructed, grass seed to be placed on exposed soils, or other <br />mitigation measures. Suspended operations shall not resume unless approval to do so <br />has been given, in writing, by the Contract Administrator. <br /> <br />H-25 Timing Requirements for Timber Removal <br /> <br />All timber must be removed within 4 weeks of being felled. <br /> <br />H-30 Timber Falling <br /> <br />Trees shall be felled and logs shall be bucked to obtain the greatest practicable <br />utilization of forest products and other valuable materials conveyed. <br /> <br />H-35 Fall Trees Into Sale Area <br /> <br />Trees shall be felled into the sale area unless otherwise approved by the Contract <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />H-40 Purchaser Cutting Plan <br /> <br />Purchaser shall, as part of the plan of operations, prepare an acceptable cutting plan for the <br />sale area. The cutting plan shall be approved by the Contract Administrator prior to beginning <br />the cutting operation. <br /> <br />H-50 Rub Trees <br /> <br />Trees designated for cutting along skid trails and cable corridors shall be left standing as <br />rub trees until all timber that is tributary to the skid trail or cable corridor has been
