CITY OF EVERETT WEST MARINE VIEW DRIVE/ALVERSON AND 41 ST ST/GRAND AVE <br />PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS <br />STATE FUND# HLP-PB15(032) <br />WO #3630 July 25, 2024 <br />15 <br />1 <br />2 "Roadway Surveying", lump sum. <br />3 <br />4 The lump sum contract price for "Roadway Surveying" shall be full pay for all labor, <br />5 equipment, materials, and supervision utilized to perform the Work specified, including any <br />6 resurveying, checking, correction of errors, replacement of missing or damaged stakes, <br />7 and coordination efforts. <br />8 <br />9 1-05.4.OPT4.GR1 <br />10 (March 9, 2023) <br />11 Contractor Surveying ADA Features <br />12 ADA Feature Staking Requirements <br />13 The Contractor shall be responsible for setting, maintaining, and resetting all <br />14 alignment stakes, and grades necessary for the construction of the ADA features. <br />15 Calculations, surveying, and measuring required for setting and maintaining the <br />16 necessary lines and grades shall be the Contractor’s responsibility. The Contractor <br />17 shall build the ADA features within the specifications in the Standard Plans and <br />18 contract documents. <br />19 <br />20 ADA Feature Contract Compliance <br />21 The Contractor shall be responsible for completing measurements to verify all ADA <br />22 features comply with the Contract in the presence of the Engineer. <br />23 <br />24 ADA Feature As-Built Measurements <br />25 The Contractor shall be responsible for providing the latitude and longitude of each <br />26 ADA feature as indicated on the ADA Inspection Form(s) (WSDOT Form 224-020). <br />27 <br />28 The completed ADA Inspection Form(s) (WSDOT Form 224-020) shall be submitted <br />29 as a Type 3 Working Drawing and transmitted to the Engineer within 30 calendar days <br />30 of completing the ADA feature. After acceptance, the Contracting Agency will submit <br />31 the final form(s) to the WSDOT ADA Steward. <br />32 <br />33 <br />34 Payment <br />35 Payment will be made for the following bid item that is included in the Proposal: <br />36 <br />37 "ADA Features Surveying", lump sum. <br />38 <br />39 The lump sum Contract price for "ADA Features Surveying" shall be full pay for all the <br />40 Work as specified. <br />41 <br />42 In the instance where an ADA feature does not meet accessibility requirements, all work <br />43 to replace non-compliant work and then to measure, record the as-built measurements, <br />44 and transmit the electronic forms to the Engineer shall be completed at no additional cost <br />45 to the Contracting Agency. <br />46
