The <br />26 schedule may be a critical path method (CPM) schedule, bar chart, or other standard <br />27 schedule format. Regardless of which format used, the schedule shall identify the critical <br />28 path. The Engineer will evaluate the Type A Progress Schedule and approve or return the <br />29 schedule for corrections within 15 calendar days of receiving the submittal. <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 1-08.5.OptionA.RTF <br />33 1-08.5 Time for Completion <br />34 (December 30, 2022 APWA GSP, Option A) <br />35 <br />36 <br />37 Revise the third and fourth paragraphs to read: <br />38 <br />39 Contract time shall begin on the first working day following the Notice to Proceed Date. <br />40 <br />41 Each working day shall be charged to the contract as it occurs, until the contract work is <br />42 physically complete. If substantial completion has been granted and all the authorized <br />43 working days have been used, charging of working days will cease. Each week the <br />44 Engineer will provide the Contractor a statement that shows the number of working days: <br />45 (1) charged to the contract the week before; (2) specified for the physical completion of <br />46 the contract; and (3) remaining for the physical completion of the contract. The statement <br />47 will also show the nonworking days and all partial or whole days the Engineer declares as <br />48 unworkable The statement will be identified as a Written Determination by the Engineer. If <br />49 the Contractor does not agree with the Written Determination of working days, the <br />50 Contractor shall pursue the protest procedures in accordance with Section 1-04.5. By <br />51 failing to follow the procedures of Section 1-04.5, the Contractor shall be deemed as <br />52 having accepted the statement as correct. If the Contractor is approved to
