CITY OF EVERETT WEST MARINE VIEW DRIVE/ALVERSON AND 41 ST ST/GRAND AVE <br />PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS <br />STATE FUND# HLP-PB15(032) <br />WO #3630 July 10, 2024 <br />CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br />SPECIFICATIONS, PROPOSAL AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR <br />WEST MARINE VIEW DRIVE/ALVERSON AND 41ST ST/GRAND AVE <br />PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS <br />COE PW# 3630 <br />STATE FUND #HLP-PB15(032) <br />NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br />Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals for the WEST MARINE VIEW DRIVE/ALVERSON AND <br />41ST ST/GRAND AVE PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS will be received at the office of the City Clerk, <br />1st Floor Everett Municipal Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, Washington 98201, until 2:00 p.m., <br />on Tuesday, August 20th, 2024. At the appointed time, all bids will be opened at the Procurement <br />Office on the 9th floor and read aloud publicly via live streaming. Interested parties are <br />encouraged to watch via live streaming; however, bidders may also attend the bid opening in <br />person. The link for the webcast is located at https://everettwa.gov/319/Procurement <br />The engineers estimate for this project is $602,643. <br />The work includes, but is not limited to: the replacement of the existing pedestrian path in Hibulb <br />park with HMA in the same location. All path excavated material is considered hazardous <br />materials to be disposed of at an approve site. The path will be extended north to the West <br />Marine View Drive and Alverson intersection where it will join new cement concrete sidewalk <br />that terminates at the existing south end of the rapid flashing beacon. New ADA ramp, new <br />raised median on West Marine View Drive at the Rapid Flashing Beacon, a short landscape <br />retaining wall, signage, and illumination. At 41st/Grand Ave upgrade existing crosswalk with new <br />ADA ramps and Rapid Flashing Beacons with an advance notice flasher and performing all Work <br />as required by the Contract Documents. <br />Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) <br />is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and <br />clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of Everett". This online plan room <br />provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, <br />order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take- <br />off tool. It is recommended that Bidders Register in order to receive automatic e-mail <br />notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the Self-Registered Bidders <br />List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to <br />periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project.
