18TH STREET PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS 3741 RMT July 03, 2024 15 1 1-05.13.RTF 2 1-05.13 Superintendents, Labor and Equipment of Contractor 3 (August 14, 2013 APWA GSP) 4 5 Delete the sixth and seventh paragraphs of this section. 6 7 1-05.14.GR1 8 Cooperation with Other Contractors 9 10 1-05.14.INST1.GR1 11 Section 1-05.14 is supplemented with the following: 12 13 F1-05.14.OPT1.FR1.docx 14 (March 13, 1995) 15 Other Contracts Or Other Work 16 It is anticipated that the following work adjacent to or within the limits of this project will 17 be performed by others during the course of this project and will require coordination of 18 the work: 19 20 *** fill-in if necessary *** 21 22 1-05.16.RTF 23 Add the following new section: 24 25 1-05.16 Water and Power 26 (October 1, 2005 APWA GSP) 27 28 The Contractor shall make necessary arrangements, and shall bear the costs for power 29 and water necessary for the performance of the work, unless the contract includes power 30 and water as a pay item. 31 32 1-06.6.RTF 33 1-06.6 Recycled Materials 34 (January 4, 2016 APWA GSP) 35 36 Delete this section, including its subsections, and replace it with the following: 37 38 The Contractor shall make their best effort to utilize recycled materials in the construction 39 of the project. Approval of such material use shall be as detailed elsewhere in the 40 Standard Specifications. 41 42 Prior to Physical Completion the Contractor shall report the quantity of recycled materials 43 that were utilized in the construction of the project for each of the items listed in Section 44 9-03.21. The report shall include hot mix asphalt, recycled concrete aggregate, recycled 45 glass, steel furnace slag and other recycled materials (e.g. utilization of on-site material 46 and aggregates from concrete returned to the supplier). The Contractor’s report shall be 47 provided on DOT form 350-075 Recycled Materials Reporting. 48 49 1-07.GR1 50 Legal Relations and Responsibilities to the Public 51 52
