ORDINANCE <br />NO. <br />4046- <br />24 <br />An <br />ORDINANCE <br />approving <br />the <br />appropriations <br />of <br />the <br />2024 <br />revised <br />City <br />of <br />Everett <br />Budget <br />and <br />amending <br />Ordinance <br />No. <br />4022- <br />24. <br />WHEREAS, The <br />City <br />Council <br />has <br />reviewed <br />the <br />amended <br />budget <br />appropriations <br />and <br />information <br />which <br />was <br />made <br />available; <br />and <br />approves <br />the <br />appropriation <br />of <br />local, <br />state, <br />and <br />federal <br />funds <br />and <br />the <br />increase <br />or <br />decrease <br />from <br />previously <br />approved <br />programs <br />within <br />the <br />2024 <br />Budget. <br />NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br />THE <br />CITY <br />OF <br />EVERETT <br />DOES <br />ORDAIN: <br />Section <br />1. <br />Ordinance <br />No. <br />4022- <br />24 <br />is <br />hereby <br />amended <br />by <br />the <br />amendments <br />shown <br />on <br />Attachment <br />A, <br />which <br />is <br />incorporated <br />by <br />reference. <br />The <br />amendments <br />shall <br />be <br />made <br />to <br />the <br />2024 <br />Budget <br />with <br />a <br />total <br />increased <br />expenditure <br />appropriation <br />of $ <br />40, <br />374, <br />524. <br />Section <br />2. <br />The <br />City <br />Clerk <br />and <br />the <br />codifiers <br />of <br />this <br />Ordinance <br />are <br />authorized <br />to <br />make <br />necessary <br />corrections <br />to <br />this <br />Ordinance <br />including, <br />but <br />not <br />limited <br />to, <br />the <br />correction <br />of <br />scrivener’ <br />s/ <br />clerical <br />errors, <br />references, <br />ordinance <br />numbering, <br />section/ <br />subsection <br />numbers, <br />and <br />any <br />internal <br />references. <br />Section <br />3. <br />The <br />City <br />Council <br />hereby <br />declares <br />that <br />should <br />any <br />section, <br />paragraph, <br />sentence, <br />clause <br />or <br />phrase <br />of <br />this <br />ordinance <br />be <br />declared <br />invalid <br />for <br />any <br />reason, <br />it <br />is <br />the <br />intent <br />of <br />the <br />City <br />Council <br />that <br />it <br />would <br />have <br />passed <br />all <br />portions <br />of <br />this <br />ordinance <br />independent <br />of <br />the <br />elimination <br />of <br />any <br />such <br />portion <br />as <br />may <br />be <br />declared <br />invalid. <br />Beginning <br />Fund <br />balance <br />and <br />2024 <br />Revenues <br />Expenditures <br />Ending <br />Fund <br />Balance <br />2024 <br />Amended <br />Budget <br />772, <br />574, <br />168$ <br />471, <br />728, <br />768$ <br />300, <br />845, <br />400$ <br />Budget <br />Amendment # <br />2 <br />6, <br />878, <br />409 <br />40, <br />374, <br />524 ( <br />33, <br />496, <br />115) <br />2024 <br />Amended <br />Budget <br />779, <br />452, <br />577$ <br />512, <br />103, <br />292$ <br />267, <br />349, <br />285$ VOID DUE TO SCRIVENER'S ERROR
