N ENG NEERSR
—JENW.IF
.......
PROJECT 2024-0772—Clare's Place: Ventilation Revisions
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
NEBB Statement
This project has been balanced per plans and specifications using the National Environmental Balancing
Bureau(NEBB) standards and procedures, and in accordance with the approved Test and Balance Strategy.
All systems were balanced within specified tolerances.
All air systems have been inspected and measured for fan operating data, operating amperage, voltage,
rotation, RPM, and operating static pressure.
Scope of Work
The scope of work for this project includes the Testing, Adjusting, and Balance of three (3) Intake Fans and
three (3) Exhaust Fans, setting only the total airflows for each unit. The Grilles, Registers, and Diffusers
(GRD's)were excluded from the SOW due to occupancy.
The Balancing Tolerances for Systems included in the SOW are specified for this project are as follows:
• Supply and Exhaust Fans and Equipment with Fans: ±10%
Air Systems Summary
Fan Units: Intake Fans (IF) & Exhaust Fans (EF)
The fans were checked for proper operation, rotation, amps, and volts. The fans are balanced to meet design
flows. GRD balance was excluded from SOW. The fans were set by total airflow traverse using the detached
controller to plug into the units and set the fan RPM. A fan summary is below. Please see test data sheets for
specifics.
Design Airflow Actual Airflow
Unit (CFM) (CFM) ° of design
IF-1 1,140 1,065 93.4
1 F-2 1,300 1,355 104.2
IF-3 1,585 1,539 97.1
EF-1 1,240 1,288 103.9
EF-2 1,360 1,377 101.3
EF-3 1,585 1,545 97.5
