Commissioning Plan Page 32
c) Investigate the dynamic interactions between components in the building
system. Evaluate the scheduling, the interaction between heating and
cooling, and the effectiveness of the HVAC system in meeting the comfort
requirements.
9. In some systems, deficient performance will result in additional work being
required to commission the systems. This work will be completed under the
direction of the Owner's Representative and the Engineer, with input from the
Contractor and equipment supplier. Whereas all members will have input and
the opportunity to discuss the work and resolve problems, the Engineer will have
final jurisdiction on the work needed to achieve performance. Corrective work
shall be completed in a timely fashion to permit timely completion of the
commissioning process.
10. A functional performance test shall be aborted if any system deficiency prevents
the successful completion of the test. The responsible subcontractor shall correct
all deficiencies in accordance with the applicable contract requirements. The item
shall then be retested until it has been completed with no errors. Installing
Contractor is responsible for retesting costs.
VI. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
See attached documentation.
Commissioning Firm: Certifications, list of similar projects, and company history.
Commissioning Authority: Names, certifications, and resumes for all firm personnel,
including persons to assist the designated lead CA. BLANK FUNCTIONAL PERFORMANCE TEST FORMS
See attached documentation.
Functional Performance Test (FPT) verify that all systems are operating and interacting
with other systems correctly, per contract sequences of operations, design intent, and
owner's project requirements.
FPTs are to be executed by Contractor's skilled technician familiar with the project, as
directed and witnessed by Neudorfer Engineers.
Clare's Place Ventilation Revision
IV Neudorfer Engineers, LLC.
