ORDINANCE NO. 2025 II An Ordinance amending Section 115 of Ordinance No.1825 of 1 the City of Everett, entitled, " An Ordinance relating to the use 2 of public highways, and other places of the City of Everett open 3 to the public for the use of vehicles; -providing penalties for the 4 violation thereof and repealing certain ordinances and parts of 5 ordinances " by providing additional penalties for the violation of 6 certain sections of Ordinance 1vo4,1825. 7 THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN : 8 Section 1 : That Section 115 of Ordinance Iyo.1825 of the City of ]verett be and the sane is hereby amended to read as follows : 12 "Section 115 : A ny person violating any of the provisions 13 of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, b ' punished by imprison— 14 ment not to exceed thirty (30) days or by fine not to exceed One 15 ' Hundred ( 100,00) Dollars or by both such fine and imprisonment. 16 11 And in addition to imposing any of the above mentioned penalties, 17 I in case the conviction is for the violation of Section 64 of 13 Ordinance 17o,1825, relative to driving or operating any vehicle 19 or street car while intoxicated or for the violation of Section 49 20 of Ordinance ?o.1825 as emended. by Ordinance lo,1839,relative to 21 j speed limits within the City of Ilverett, then, in that event the 22 I Do7,. ce Judge shall have the power in his discretion to require the 23 defendant to surrender his operator' s license forthwith to the 24 court and shall thereupon cancel such operator' s license by 25 wri tine across the face thereof the word "cancelled" and dating 26 and signing the sane and to immediately transmit its same to the 27 Director of Licenses .
