47, ORDINANCE NO, 2024 An Ordinance providing for the improvement of l'etmore Avenue from the north line of 24th street to the center line of 1 13th Street by grading to proper grade, removal of old lumber, 2 construction of a Portland Cement Concrete Pavement full width 3 between the present curbs, installation of necessary drainage, 4 making necessary water system changes, also by the construction 5 of concrete curbs from the north line of --7.11tonls 1st Addition 6 to 13th S treet. , conforming in position to the present curbs, 7 north of 15th Street and doing all other work on the entire 8 district necessary to make a complete improvement, creating an 9 assessment district, creating a Local Improvement District l'und 10 therefor, providing that payment for said improvement be made by special assessment on the property in said district under 12 the mode of payment by bonds, nereas, a majority petition of the pro-)erty owners 13 14 , petitioning for said improvement has heretofore been filed with the Commissioner of Public -.:orks and said Commissioner 15 has found the things set forth in said petition to be true,and, 16 Whereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has filed 17 ' with the City Council all data and information in regard to 18 said 19 improvement, as required by law, and, nereas, said Commissioner of Public -;orks has re- 20 commended to the City Council that said improvement petitioned 21 for be made, and it appearing to the City Council that public 22 convenience and necessity requires such improvement to be made, 23 now therefore, 24 25 THE CITY OF EVRETT DOES ORDAI5 26 Section 1 : That Wetmore Avenue from the north line of 27 24th street to the center line of 13th street be improved by 28 29 30 31
