October 9, 2024 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., October 9, 2024, <br />by President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin, and Council Members Zarlingo, Vogeli, Fosse, <br />Tuohy, Rhyne, Bader, and President Schwab were present. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the October 2, 2024, meeting were approved. <br /> <br />President Schwab moved Consent Agenda Item No. 12 to Action Items and will address after <br />Agenda Item No. 15. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin provided comments on the Parks Partnerships RFP, Outdoor Multipurpose Facility <br />Project, and the Port Gardner Storage Facility PLA Consultant Agreement. She also stated she <br />issued a proclamation declaring October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The Council received two (2) written comment, and the following member of the public spoke: <br />Leo Lorge <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Vice President Zarlingo attended the Built Environment Committee. <br /> <br />Council Member Vogeli attended the Built Environment Committee. <br /> <br />Council Member Fosse attended the 25th Adult Recovery Court Program celebration. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy stated the Schack Arts Center is celebrating their 50th Anniversary this <br />weekend. <br /> <br />
