---------- Forwarded message---------
From:Alex Byrd <AByrd@ eve rettwa.gov>
Date:Tue,Apr 13, 2021, 1:25 PM
Subject: 1004 110th PI. SE, permit B2101-048- Planning Corrections
To: mulatush@gmail.com <mulatush@gmail.com>, Carmelo Laviste<cnldesign.drafting@gmail.com>
Hello,
Thank you for submitting a building permit for an adult-family home at 1004110th PI. SE, permit
132101-048. In order for the Planning Department to approve the permit, please submit the
following:
1. Please clarify if staff will live on or off site. If living off site, please verify how many people
will be on shift at a time. Table 34-1 states the following regarding off-street parking
required for adult-family homes:
2 parking spaces are required for the single-family residence plus 1 for each staff person on shift not
living on premises for the adult family home.
2. Per EMC 19.34.110,the maximum allowable width of the driveway within the front 20-foot
setback area is 30-feet. It looks like the driveway was paved and extends to the west side of
the house. I do not see any permit history to expand the driveway; therefore, some of the
paving will need to be removed to comply with code and restored to natural area
(landscaped, ground cover, etc., but it cannot be gravel). Attached is the original approved
site plan when the house was constructed in 1988. The plan specifically states the maximum
driveway width is 20'. However, we can allow up to 30' under current code.
The interim permit intake/resubmittal policy is available on the Permit Services Page. Please submit
at minimum 2 copies of any revised documents/plans.
These comments are only related to the land use code and do not account for all possible
requirements from other departments. For general permit questions, please contact Permit Services
at everetteps@everettwa.Bov or 425.257.8810.
Thanks,
