Your project contains various stormwater management features, including an infiltration
facility, that were installed to mitigate the stormwater quantity and quality impacts of
some or all of the impervious surfaces created by site construction. The size,
placement, and design of these facilities, as depicted on the plans and design details,
must be maintained and may not be changed without written approval from the City of
Everett Public Works Department.
Infiltration drywells are relatively simple facilities that allow stormwater to infiltrate into
the ground through a rock-filled trench or hole. These should be inspected semi-
annually for function and sediment accumulation. The drywell collects runoff through a
series of storm drain pipes and catch basins, which can be looked into for water and
sediment levels. The location of these facilities is shown on the project construction
plans.
The following pages describe in detail the maintenance parameters for these facilities.
