Permit #: B2405-062, Second Building Review <br />June 18, 2024 <br />Submittal documents should contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project for <br />compliance with the adopted building codes. Upon submittal of the revised documents, your application <br />will be given priority and the review will recommence. <br />General (Reviewer: Anita Chen) <br />1. Please make a "Note" stating how the spa/hot tub will be filled: <br />If the proposed spa/hot tub will be filled via water from an existing hose bib, please show the hose bib <br />location on plan and write "Hot tub filled by temporary connection to existing hose bib. No new <br />plumbing fixtures needed. PLUMBING PERMIT NOT REQUIRED." <br />OR <br />If the proposed hot tub requires a new hose bib or other plumbing fixtures, show the locations and <br />either the owner or the plumbing contractor will apply for a plumbing permit. <br />Architectural (Reviewer: Anita Chen <br />2. (ISPSC 305.1) Please provide a physical barrier or cover with locking device for the hot tub. (Please <br />provide a note stating that the spa has a cover and locking device.) <br />3. (ISPSC 306) Please ensure that deck meets requirements per ISPSC 306: <br />a. Please provide slip resistance surface per ISPSC 306.2 <br />b. Please provide a hose bib or location of existing hose bib per ISPSC 306.8.1 <br />4. (ISPSC 321.1) Please provide deck lighting per ISPSC 321.1. <br />This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and amended by <br />the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made during the review process <br />do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit requirements.
