I am the planner assigned to the review. We do need some additional information before we can fully review your permit. On a site plan (not just a photograph, but a site plan — drawn by hand or by computer are both ok), we need you to show the location of the existing home, deck, and any other buildings, as well as the location of your proposed hot tub. For the deck and hot tub, please note on your site plan the distances to at least the nearest two lot lines. For further help, please refer to pages 8 and 9 of the document linked here (the City of Everett Residential -construction -submittal -checklist). On page 9, please make sure your site plan includes items 1 and 7, in addition to the items above. Please note that these comments are only related to the land use code, and do not account for all possible requirements either from Planning or other departmental reviewers.
