Vehicles shall not be parked in required front setback areas for single-family and <br /> duplex uses, except when located_upon driveways meeting the requirements of subsection <br /> I of this section. <br /> Section 55: Section 34.060.K of Ordinance No. 1671-89, as amended (EMC <br /> 19.34.060.K), which reads as follows: <br /> K. Handicap parking stalls shall be provided and located in accordance with the <br /> Washington State Regulations for Barrier Free Facilities (WAC 51-10). <br /> Is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> K. Handicap parking stalls shall be provided and located in accordance with the <br /> Washington State Regulations for Barrier Free Facilities. <br /> Section 56: Section 34.070.A of Ordinance No. 1671-89, as amended by Section 4 of <br /> Ordinance No. 1793-91, (EMC 19.34.070.A), which reads as follows: <br /> A. An applicant may request a modification of the parking requirements of this title. <br /> The review authority and review process shall be based upon the following criteria: <br /> 1. Uses which are reviewed using Review Process III or V shall have requests for a <br /> modification of parking requirements considered during the review process for <br /> that use. <br /> 2. Variances requesting a reduction of parking requirements by more than ten <br /> percent, which are not being considered concurrently with a use which required <br /> Review Process III or V shall be considered using Review Process IV. <br /> 3. Requests for a modification of parking requirements of not more than ten percent <br /> may be reviewed by the planning director using Review Process IIB, subject to <br /> the following requirements: <br /> a. The planning director may approve a request for such a modification only <br /> if such a request is supported by the city traffic engineer, based upon information <br /> or documentation contained in a parking analysis, as may be required by the <br /> traffic engineer. <br /> b. The planning director may not approve a modification of parking <br /> standards for residential uses. <br /> c. The decision of the planning director on a request to modify parking <br /> requirements shall be subject to appeal to the hearing examiner, as provided in <br /> Section 41.180. <br />
