Section 57: Section 34.080.A of Ordinance No. 1671-89, as amended by Section 23 of <br /> Ordinance No. 1849-92, (EMC 19.34.080.A), which reads as follows: <br /> 34.080 Parking Area Design and Construction. <br /> A. Paving, layout, striping, drainage, compact parking stalls, handicap parking stalls, <br /> parking stall sizes, aisle width and other construction details shall be in accordance with <br /> the construction standards of the city engineer. Off-street parking areas for all uses except <br /> agricultural and single-family uses shall be paved with a permanent durable surfacing. <br /> See Section 39.165 for other parking lot design requirements for transportation <br /> compatibility. <br /> Is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> A. Parking of trucks or fleet vehicles is considered off-street parking for the <br /> purposes of calculating the parking lot interior landscaping required by Chapter 35 of this <br /> Title. <br /> Section 59: Section 34.090.0 of Ordinance No. 1671-89, as amended (EMC <br /> 19.34.090.C), which reads as follows: <br /> C. For uses with a smaller floor area than the minimum listed in subsections A or B <br /> of this section, for uses in the B-3 area or for uses being reviewed using Review Process <br /> IIIB or VB., the traffic engineer shall be authorized to require loading space as necessary <br /> to provide for the safe and efficient delivery of merchandise or materials to the specific <br /> uses within the building to assure that required off-street parking areas and public right <br /> of-way are protected from unsafe conditions resulting from truck loading and unloading. <br />
