Service is required for your commercial cooking extinguishing systems. <br /> All commercial cooking extinguishing systems shall be serviced by a qualified and certified <br /> individual not less than every 6 months. <br /> 2. Have your commercial kitchen hood(s),grease-removal devices,fans, ducts and other related <br /> equipment cleaned. <br /> In low-volume cooking operations such as places of religious worship, seasonal businesses and <br /> senior centers, hoods, grease-removal devices,fans, ducts and other related equipment shall be <br /> cleaned at an interval of not less than once every 12 months or as approved by the fire code <br /> official. Inspections shall be completed by qualified individuals that are trained with <br /> certifications establishing requirements for cleaning of commercial cooking operations. <br /> 3. Have your Compressed gas cylinder inspected. <br /> 4. Install a LP gas alarm. <br /> S. Provide portable fire extinguisher(s) <br /> Provide portable fire extinguisher(s)that comply with the following: <br /> • Sized at a minimum rating of a 2A:10BC(4.5+ pound ABC multi-purpose) <br /> • Located conspicuously along normal path of travel not more than 75 feet from any other <br /> extinguishers. <br /> • Mounted to the wall so that the top of the extinguisher is not more than 5 feet above <br /> the floor. <br /> • In full operational condition and provided with a service tag or dated by the <br /> manufacturer within the last 12 months. <br /> 6. Provide a Class K-rated portable fire extinguisher(s) <br /> Provide a Class K-rated portable fire extinguisher(s)that is conspicuously located and mounted. <br /> The Class K-rated extinguisher shall be in full operational condition and provided with a service <br /> tag or dated by the manufacturer within the last 12 months. <br /> 7. Multiple extension cords are connected and taped to one another. Replace existing cords with <br /> one cord that can be connected from the truck and directly into the receptacle. <br />
