o <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1983 <br /> 1 AN Ordinance relating to and regulating the sale <br /> 2 <br /> of certain firearms and other dangerous weapons, and <br /> 31 <br /> providing penalties for the violation thereof . <br /> 4 <br /> 5 THE CITY OF EVEIETT DOES ORDAIN : <br /> 6 Section 1 : It shall be unlawful for any person, <br /> 7 fine or corporation to engage in the business of selling, or <br /> 8 ! <br /> to sell or to give away, to any person within the City of <br /> 9 <br /> Everett,rett, any pi sto ., revolver, derringer, bowie knife, dirk, <br /> 10 <br /> brass or iron knuckles, or other weapon of like character <br /> 11 <br /> Which can be concealed on the person, without securing a <br /> 12 <br /> license so to do as hereinafter provided. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 Section 2 : A ny person, firm or corporation desiring <br /> 15 a license authorizing the sale of any weapon mentioned in <br /> 16 tn.is ordinance shall make application in writing to the <br /> 17 City Commissioner of safety, setting out the full name and <br /> 18 residence of the applicant and the place or location at which <br /> 19 it is intended to conduct such business. s uch license shall <br /> 20 be known as a 'concealed weapon" license, and the fee there- <br /> 21 for shall be the sum of twenty-five ( $25.00) _Collars per year, <br /> 22 payable in advance. The City Clerk is' authorized to issue <br /> 23 such license if the application therefor is approved by the <br /> 24 City Council on the presentation of a receipt from the City <br /> 25 Treasurer showing payment of the license fee. <br /> 26 <br /> Section 3 :Every person, firm or corporation licensed <br /> 27 <br /> to sell the weapons mentioned in this ordinance shall make <br /> 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br />
