1 ORDINANCE NO, 1952 <br /> 2 An Ordinance proposing to the voters of the City of <br /> 3 Everett , "ashington, that the City of Everett, establish, <br /> 4 construct, own, maintain, manage and operate a Public Market <br /> 5 with storage and cold storage facilities, specifying and adopt <br /> 6 ing a system or plan therefor, declaring the estimated costs <br /> 7 thereof as nearly as may be, providing for the payment thereof <br /> 8 by the issuance of Serial Municipal Market Revenue Fund Bonds of <br /> 9 the City of Everett in the sum of One Hundred Thousand ( 100,000.00) <br /> 10 Dollars, providing for the payment of said bonds out of a sinking <br /> 11 fund to be created as provided by statute and providing for the <br /> 12 submission of said proposition at the general election to be held <br /> 13 on 1Tovember,2,1920 , at which election the qualified voters of the <br /> 14 City of Everett may vote for or against said proposition. <br /> 15 her eas, it is deemed advisable by the City Council <br /> 16 of the City of Everett that said city shall establish, construct, <br /> 17 own, mantain, manage and operate a Public Market in accordance <br /> 18 with the laws of the S tate of Washington, now therefore, <br /> 19 <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Section 1 : That public interest and welfare require that the <br /> 22 City of Everett construct, own, manage, maintain, and operate a <br /> 23 public Market within the City of Everett for the sale of butter, <br /> 24 eggs, meats, fish, fruits, vegetabled and other perishable provis- <br /> 25 ions, and to- provide in connection with said Public Market for any <br /> 26 and all storage and cold storage facilities deemed necessary. <br /> 27 <br /> Section 2: That the City Councl of the City of Everett <br /> 28 <br /> 29 hereby specifies and adopts the system or plan hereinafter proposed <br /> for the construction, owning, managing, maintaining and operating <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> of fl Public Market as follows, to-wit : <br /> -1. <br />
