ORDINABCE No. 1950 1 An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Virginia Avenue 2 from the north line of Hewitt Avenue to 25th Street by the removal 3 of old lumber, grading for and the construction of concrete side- 4 walks, concrete curbs and gutters, replacing water main s, installa- 5 t ion of necessary drainage and doing all other work necessary, in 6 connection therewith, to make a complete improvement in accordance 7 with Resolution No. 2775 of the City of Everett, creating an assess- 8 ment district , creating a Local Improvement DistrictFund therefor, 9 providing that payment for said improvement be made by special 10 assessment on the property benefit-ted in said District by the mode of 11 payment by bonds . 12 tJhereas, by Resolution I-To . 2775 of the City of Everett the City 13 Council of Everett has declared its intention to order the improve- 14 ment of Virginia Avenue from the north line of Hewitt Avenue to 25th 15 Street by the removal of old lumber, grading for and the construction 16 of concrete sidewalks, concrete curbs and gutters, replacjater 17 mains, installation of necessary drainage, and doing all other work 18 necessary, in connection therewith, to make a complete improvement, 19 in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the City 20 Engineer, now therefore 21 THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 22 23 Section 1 : That Virginia Avenue from the north line of Hewitt 24 Avenue to 25th Street be improved by the removal of old lumber, grad- 25 ing for and the construction of concrete sidewalks, concrete curbs 26 and gutters, replacing water mains, installation of necessary drain- 27 age and doing all other work necessary , in connection therewith, to 28 make a complete improvement according to the plans and specifications 29 prepared by the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are 30 hereby adopted and approved. 31 -1-
