ORDINANCE NO._ 1947 -� <br /> 1 <br /> An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Colby Ave. from <br /> 2 <br /> 12th St . to 1Oth St . and 10th St. from Rucker Ave. to Colby Ave. by <br /> 3 <br /> grading to proper grade, construction of concrete pavement and curbs <br /> 4 <br /> and installation of necessary drainage; also for the improvement of <br /> 5 <br /> Colby Ave. from the north line of Height ' s Addition to 10th St . and <br /> 6 <br /> 1Oth St. from Rucker Ave. to Colby Ave. by the construction of con- <br /> 7 <br /> crete walks; also for the improvement of 10th St . from Colby Ave. to <br /> 8 <br /> Wetmore Ave. by grading for and the construction of concrete walks, <br /> 9 <br /> concrete curbs and gutters and slagging; also for the improvement of <br /> 10 <br /> llth St . by clearing and grubbing from the west line of Block 213, <br /> 11 <br /> Height ' s Addition to the section line btwe between Sections 17 and <br /> 12 <br /> 18, and doing all otter work in the entire District necessary to make <br /> 13 <br /> a complete improvement, creating an assessment District , creating <br /> 14 <br /> a Local Improvement District Fund therefor, providing that payment <br /> 15 <br /> for said improvement be made by special assessment on the property <br /> 16 <br /> in said District under the mode o f payment by bonds . <br /> 17 <br /> Whereas, a majority petition of the property owners petitioning <br /> 18 <br /> for said improvement has heretofore been filed with the Commissioner <br /> 19 <br /> of Public Works and said Commissioner has found the things set forth <br /> 20 <br /> in said petition to be true, and <br /> 21 <br /> Whereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has filed with the <br /> 22 <br /> City Council all data and information in regard to said improvement, <br /> 23 <br /> as required by law, and <br /> 24 <br /> Whereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has recommended to <br /> 25 <br /> the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, and <br /> 26 <br /> it appearing to the City Council that public convenience and necess- <br /> 27 <br /> ity requires such improvement to b e made, now therefore <br /> 28 <br /> 29 THE CITY OP EVERE`L^T DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 30 Section 1 : That Colby Ave. from 12th St. to 10th St . and 10th <br /> 31 St . from Rucker Ave. to Colby Ave. be improved by grading to proper <br /> grade, construction of concrete pavement and concrete curbs and in- <br /> -1- <br />
