The
weather was sunny and in the 60s. Upon GeoTest's arrival onsite, the footings had been cut
into the previously existing slab on grade concrete floor. The subgrade was compacted with a
jumping jack. GeoTest probed the subgrade with a 3/8" T-Probe under full body weight and
achieved 1/4" to 3" of penetration. The subgrade appears to have been prepared in
conformance with the requirements called for in the Geotechnical Engineering Report by Earth
Solutions NW dated December 13, 2016. GeoTest informed the contractor of their findings.
GeoTest will return, upon request to provide further observation.
Image 1 - Compaction of
footing subgrade with a
jumping jack.
i
COPIES:bfox@rmacompanies.com,brian@northwayinc.com,jason@northwayino.com,smayes@bridgeindustrial.com 'r Reviewed by
This report shall not be reproduced except in full, without the written approval of GeoTest Services,Inc.
GeoTest's representatives are on-site to observe, test and provide recommendations.
