Scope of Work <br />continued <br />City of Everett 15 <br />Dorn Ave. Drainage Improvements Otak <br /> This task assumes one round of review comments by the City prior to Otak finalizing reports and permit <br />applications. <br /> The project will be exempt from the City’s critical areas ordinance (EMC 19.37). <br /> <br /> <br />11. Advertisement and Bid Support <br />Otak will provide responses to bidder’s questions and assistance to the City, including: <br />1. Support for Bid Advertisement <br />2. Attend bid opening <br />3. Respond to contractor questions <br />4. Interpretation of contract documents during the bidding process. <br />5. Preparing addenda to the bid documents. <br />6. Bid review <br /> <br />12. Construction Engineering Support Services (Optional) <br />If requested, this scope will be submitted as a supplement to the Contract. It may include <br />services such as: <br />• Response to RFI’s <br />• Review and approval of submittals <br />• Construction observation support <br />• Attendance at regular construction meetings <br />• Coordination directly with the contractor, as directed by City of Everett <br /> <br />13. Management Reserve Contingency <br />If directed by the City, consultant will provide services needed to assist the City for unforeseen tasks <br />related to this project that were not specifically addressed in this scope of work. When requested by the <br />City, the consultant will provide a scope and budget for the task identified by the City. The consultant will <br />not proceed with the task until written authorization has been provided by the City.
