CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> <br />3rd Ave Water Quality Facility Division 7 – STORM, SEWER, WATER September 12, 2024 <br />WO No. – UP 3775 SP – 183 <br /> <br /> <br />7-06.3(6) Submittals <br /> <br />Submit shop drawings and installation procedures for review and approval a minimum <br />20 days prior to ordering pretreatment unit and water quality treatment facility structures. <br /> <br />The manufacturer shall submit to the Engineer a "Manufacturer’s Performance <br />Certification" certifying that each unit is capable of achieving the specified removal <br />efficiencies and flow rates listed in the plans and special provisions. <br /> <br />Submissions for substitutions require review and approval of the Engineer, for hydraulic <br />performance, impact to project design, and equivalent treatment performance. <br />Contractor to coordinate with the Engineer for any modifications resulting from the <br />product substitution. <br /> <br />Provide operations and maintenance manuals or instructions for each proprietary device <br />installed. The document(s) shall include recommended maintenance procedures, <br />frequencies, inspection instructions and checklists, conditions which trigger <br />maintenance, and replacement material information. <br /> <br />7-06.4 Measurement <br />Bid items of Work completed pursuant to the Contract Documents will be measured as <br />described in Division B – Bid Item Descriptions of these Special Provisions and Section <br />1-09 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT of the Standard Specifications. <br />7-06.5 Payment <br />Payment for bid items of Work completed pursuant to the Contract Documents will be <br />as described in Division B – Bid Item Descriptions of these Special Provisions and <br />Section 1-09 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT of the Standard Specifications. <br /> <br />7-08 GENERAL PIPE INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS <br />7-08.1 Description <br />Further supplement 7-08.1 as follows: <br />7-08.1(1) Submittals <br />(******) <br />Provide Type 2 Working Drawings for all materials and Standard Plans. <br />Provide Type 3E Working Drawings for dewatering plans, if any. <br />7-08.2 Materials <br />Delete material items listed in 7-08.2 and substitute the following: <br />Provide materials meeting the following requirements: <br />Foundation Material Class A or B 9-03.17 Standard Specifications <br />Gravel Borrow 9-03.14(1) Standard Specifications <br />Controlled Density Fill 2-09.3(1)E Special Provisions <br />Crushed Surfacing Base Course 9-03.9(3) Standard Specifications
