Two complete sets of revised construction drawings should be submitted. Revised sheets only <br /> do comply with the City of Everett requirements. All markups performed by the City of Everett <br /> on the previously issued construction drawings must be included in the revised drawings. <br /> 2. The Basement Plan on Sheet A8 includes an area labeled "Not In Use". This area should be <br /> more clearly defined and its construction shown in the drawings. See IBC Section 107.2.1. <br /> Accessibility: <br /> 3. The project requires accessibility improvements per IEBC Sections 305.6 and 305.7. <br /> Inaccessible areas including but are not limited to the lower level bathrooms and the access to <br /> the existing conference room in the northwest corner of the lower level (i.e., limited access <br /> width due to stairway does not comply with ICC A117.1-09 Section 403.5). See IBC Sections <br /> 101.4.7 and 1101.2. <br /> 4. The door to Conference Room No. 2 should specify that a closer is not allowed. This is due to <br /> inadequate maneuvering clearance on the push side. See IBC Section 1101.2 and ICC A117.1- <br /> 09 Figure 404.2.3.2(b). <br /> 5. The reception's desk is required to be accessible and provide a minimum clearance complying <br /> with ICC A117.1-09 Section 403.5. See IBC Section 1103.1. <br /> Energy: <br /> 6. The project included converting unconditioned storage space (i.e., vehicle garage and storage) <br /> to conditioned office space. The basement level is required to comply with the insulation <br /> requirements for new construction per WSEC-18 Section C502.1. Details for insulating this level <br /> should be included. Energy performance requirements for exterior windows and doors should <br /> be specified. <br /> 7. Energy credits for the new conditioned space in the basement should be specified per WSEC-18 <br /> Section C406.1. The performance requirements should be specified in the drawings. <br /> Miscellaneous: <br /> 8. Safety glazing is required in the project, including but not limited to the window adjacent to the <br /> new exterior door in the west wall. Safety glazing should be specified where required. See IBC <br /> Section 2406.4. <br /> 9.
