It does also have the approval for the porch portion, so with the plans Issued—you would be able to have a contractor review what has been approved vs. explaining to them the work you want to have done. Already having the permit in hand will also make the contractor more likely to get the project on their schedule. Even once the permit is Issued,you can still request extensions—as we had discussed. I have included the instructions below in case you did want to go ahead and pay online and get the permit Issued. It is just a "form letter" so—please excuse the formality. The permit(s) listed in the subject line above has been approved. The permit fees due are $854.96 and must be paid prior to permit issuance. This fee can be paid via credit card (Visa or MasterCard only) online through the Online Permitting Portal at https://pw.everettwa.gov. Please note that all credit card transactions will have a 2.3%credit card convenience fee applied to them.To proceed with online payment: 1. Log in to your account(or setup a "Public" account if you don't already have one). 2. Next, verify that the specific permit number referenced in the subject line of this email is listed on your dashboard (or click Link to Permit to add the permit number to your dashboard). 3. In the menu on the left under Construction Permits click on Pay Fees. Only select the box(es) next to the permit number you want to pay.The fees due for the selected permits will be added to your shopping cart for payment when you click on PROCEED TO CHECKOUT. Alternatively, you may pay by check, made out to City of Everett with the permit number(s) listed in the check's memo line (required).This check can be dropped off in the Permit Services upstairs lobby locked Payment Drop Box affixed to the window, located at 3200 Cedar St, 2nd floor.This is a secure payment drop box and we pull payments in daily. Or,you may mail in the check, but please note, this will delay permit issuance by approximately one week due to mail delivery time.
