• ORDINANCE 70. t 19 5 1 An Ordinance providing for the improvement of the Kromer Aven- 2 ue bridge by the removal of old lumber, replacing the caps, plank- 3 ing and handrail; adding additional bracing and doing all other work 4 necessary, in connection therewith, to make a complete improvement, 5 all in accordance with Resolution No . 2738 of the City of Everett ; 6 creating an enlarged assessment district ; creating a Local Improve- 7 ment District Fund therefor, providing that said improvement be made 8 by special assessment upon the property in said District by the mode 9 of payment by bonds. 10 Whereas, by Resolution No . 2738 of the City of Everett , the City 11 Council of Everett has declared its intention to order the improve- 12 ment of the Kromer Avenue bridge by removal of old lumber, replacing 13 the caps, planking and handrail ; adding additional bracing and doing 14 all other work necessary in connection therewith, in accordance with 15 the plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer and 16 Whereas, after due hearing thereon no objections were made 17 thereto, now therefore 18 THE E CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 19 20 Section 1 : That the Kromer Avenue bridge be improved by the 21 removal of old lumber, replacing the caps, planking and handrail ; 22 adding additional bracing and doing all other work in connection 23 therewith necessary to make a complete improvement . Said improve- 24 ment to be made according; to the plans and specifications prepared 25 under the direction of the City Engineer; which plans and specifi- cations are hereby adopted and approved. 26 27 Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement , in- cluding the necessary and incidental expense, shall be borne by and 28 29 assessed against the property included in the assessment district 30 hereafter created in accordance with law. The City of Everett shall 31 not be liable in any manner for any portion of the cost and expense -1-
