G-FORCE 3: MODE CHANGE
HOW TO CHANGE MODE SETTINGS ON A G-FORCE 3
Essentially there are three modes to the units:
PR7: Manual Mode
PR2: DMX Mode with 3 channel setting
PR3: DMX Mode with 2 channel setting
Below 1 will outline how to set the modes and what must be done in what mode to allow
operation of the units via DMX.
As an additional note, there is also a way to enter into a TEC setting menu to adjust the pump
intensity. We'd prefer that this not be changed unless absolutely necessary but instructions
for this are below as well.
1. All settings must be set/checked in the PR7 mode. Once you have put the machine in
to PR2 or 3 mode, you can no longer change the DMX addresses, follow addresses, etc.
2. Put your machine in PR7 mode:
1. DMX cable must be disconnected.
2. Turn machine on,while it is starting to scroll through the start-up menu, press
and hold MANUAL+SELECT+DOWN (yes all three together), until the screen
changes to PRX.
3. As soon as it goes to the PRX screen, release all three buttons
4. Using the UP or DOWN button to scroll to PR7
5. Turn the machine off, wait approximately 5 seconds, turn back on. You are now
in PR7 Mode.
6. If your machine was already in PR1 mode, simply turn the machine off and back
on
7. In PR7 mode, if a pre-delay is set, there will be a delay in output after the
FreezeFog activation
3. Using PR7 Mode:
1. DMX cable must be disconnected
2. SELECT: sequentially cycles through the adjustable controls
1. Smoke level: 0-99%variation, only set if using in manual/PR1 mode
2. Pre-delay: Time in seconds before actual smoke issue-only set if using
PR7 or PR2 modes
3. Fan Speed: 0-99% phase control for optional fan control output-only set
if using PR7 or PR2 modes
4. Timer On:timer for Smoke issue or select NOT USED
5. Timer Off.timer for interval of non-smoke issue or select NOT USED
6. DMX Address: Selects the base DMX address
