Thank you for revising the height calculations and revised east and west elevations. The south and north
elevations still show the incorrect average base elevation and the attached garage exceeding the 18' height
limit. Please also revise these elevation drawings.
To answer your questions about the surveys, a height survey is required because the attached garage is proposed within
1-foot of the 18' height limit. Please submit the Base Elevation Survey Form (attached to my previous email). I will
need this before I can sign off on the permit. This form can be completed by a professional other than a surveyor such
as an engineer, architect, etc. The Height Survey isn't due until the framing inspection. Lastly, a survey of the rear
property line will be required because the garage is proposed within 1' of the 5' required setback. This is not due before
we issue the permit but will be a condition of approval on the permit.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
- Alexandria Byrd
Associate Planner I Community, Planning & Economic Development
425.257.8807 1 3200 Cedar Street 2nd FI., Everett, WA 98201
EVERETT everettwa.gov I Facebook I Twitter
From: Daniel Karasov<danielkarasov@gmail.com>
Sent:Tuesday, August 15, 2023 11:23 AM
To:Alex Byrd <AByrd@ eve rettwa.gov>
Subject: [EXTERNAL] Re: 11020 1st Drive SE, permit B2306-061- Planning Corrections
CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. Can you clarify something for
me. I did not do any surveys on this property. All of the height and elevations have been updated on the new
revised blueprints. Do you still require me to have a survey done for this lot, and if so does it have to be done by a
licensed surveyor?
Thank you,
i
