“Merchant Losses” means negative amounts on a Connected Account’s Stripe account <br />balance resulting from Transactions, Disputes, Refunds, and Reversals (as defined in the Stripe <br />Payments Terms) where the Connected Account is the settlement merchant. <br />“MOTO Transaction” means a Transaction that you initiate through a mail order or over the <br />telephone. <br />“Multi-Currency Processing” means the ability to have funds settled to a User Bank Account in <br />a currency different from the one in which you accepted payment from a Customer. <br />“Nacha” means the National Automated Clearinghouse Association. <br />“Nacha Operating Rules” means the rules Nacha publishes that govern automated clearing <br />house transactions on the ACH Network, located at www.nachaoperatingrulesonline.org. <br />“Of f take Agreement” means a legally binding contract to buy future tons of carbon dioxide <br />removal at an agreed price if and when delivered. <br />“On-Reader Forms” means functionality that allows you to display pre-built user interfaces on <br />Stripe Terminal Product reader device screens that may be used to (a) display customized text <br />to your Customers, (b) solicit Customer selection from buttons displaying customized text, or <br />(c) collect and store Customer input text information and signature images. <br />“Originator” has the meaning given to it in the Nacha Operating Rules. <br />“Paris Agreement” means the Paris Agreement to the United Nations Framework Convention <br />on Climate Change, U.N. Doc. FCCC/CP/2015/L .9/Rev/1 (Dec. 12 , 2015). <br />“Payment Account Details” means the Payment Method account details for a Customer that <br />the PCI Standards require to be protected, which may include the Customer ’s name, and with <br />respect to credit and debit cards, the Customer ’s account number, card expiration date, and <br />card verification value or similar security code. <br />“Payment Method” means a payment method that Stripe accepts as part of the Stripe <br />Payments Services (e.g., a Visa credit card, Klarna). <br />“Payment Method Acquirer” means an entity that a Payment Method Provider has authorized <br />to (a) sponsor or submit Transactions at the request of merchants to the Payment Method <br />Provider for authorization and clearing; and (b) receive and remit settlement funds for <br />authorized and cleared Transactions.
