JPC ARCHITECTS April18, 2023 <br /> To whom it may concern, <br /> Regarding the first floor landlord upgrades of Silver Lake Plaza at 10521 19th Ave SE Everett WA <br /> 98202,JPC has reviewed the original record drawings under permit#B1703-024 and we have <br /> determined that currently,there is no requirement for fire rated horizontal assemblies. <br /> The indicated Kitchen and Restaurant spaces with A-2 occupancies have not been constructed <br /> and the existing suites 101 and 103 are unoccupied and unfinished.There are currently no A occupancy <br /> spaces in the building, only B occupancy spaces, and this scope of work is not changing the occupancy of <br /> any space. Per IBC Table 508.4,there is no required separation between B occupancy spaces and per <br /> Table 601 there is no fire resistance rating requirement for floor construction and associated secondary <br /> members in a Type V-B construction.The interior exit stairways, elevator shaft enclosure, and building <br /> lobby partitions are existing, completed with a 60 min.fire barrier per IBC 1023.2.
