Commissioning Plan Page 5 <br /> performance, maintainability, sustainability, system cost, indoor <br /> environmental quality, & local environmental impacts. <br /> c) Develop the schedule logic associated with testing and commissioning of <br /> mechanical systems. <br /> d) Inspect and verify that the above associated equipment and systems have <br /> been properly installed in accordance with the contract documents. <br /> e) Back check witness of contractor-executed air and water balancing. <br /> f) Review of controls testing plan submittal, and back check verification of <br /> controls Performance Verification Testing (PVTs). <br /> g) Performance of HVAC commissioning pre-functional checks and functional <br /> performance testing. <br /> h) Identify, document and report (for tracking and correction), all deficiencies of <br /> work versus contract specifications and performance requirements. Upon <br /> successful review of the corrections, recommend approval & acceptance of <br /> systems and related O&M manuals to the Contracting Officer. <br /> i) Coordinate all training of the installed components and system so that the <br /> operator can operate and maintain the plant. <br /> j) Collect, organize, and combine into one documentation book all the <br /> completed testing forms, and turn over to the General Contractor for final <br /> transmitting to the Owner, including: <br /> i. Results of PFPTs & FPTs. <br /> ii. Results of deficiencies observed during Cx activities. <br /> iii. FPT procedures used during the commissioning process, including <br /> measurable criteria for test acceptance. <br /> k) Designate an individual as the Commissioning Authority to lead the <br /> commissioning process activities.
