Additional comments may also be provided by other <br /> Departmental reviewers for your application; please utilize the Online Permitting Portal to check on the status of other <br /> reviewers. <br /> Planning has the following comments and correction items to be addressed: <br /> • Floor Plan. Please clarify which portions of the existing dwelling unit will be converted to an adult family home <br /> and label the caretaker's areas if provided. Any portions that are not part of the adult family home or caretaker's <br /> quarters will be considered an accessory dwelling unit and will be required to provide complete independent <br /> living facilities (e.g., kitchen, etc.). If the entire single-family residence is to be converted to an adult family <br /> home, please indicate as such on the plans. <br /> • Parking. Per Table 34-1 in EMC 19.34.020,two off-street parking spaces per dwelling unit, plus one for each staff <br /> person on shift not living on premises are required for adult family homes. In addition, one parking space is <br /> required per accessory dwelling unit.As such, please clearly depict all required off-street parking spaces as <br /> required by the Adult Family Home Submittal Checklist and provide a parking summary for review. <br /> For reference, the residential construction submittal checklist is available online and includes the residential site plan <br /> checklist. Re-submittal instructions are outlined here; please submit at minimum 2 copies of any revised <br /> documents/plans.
