EXHIBIT B <br />Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force <br />Commander Selection <br /> <br /> <br />With the objective of selecting the best possible candidate for the position of Drug Task Force <br />Commander, and ensuring the best fit into the organization, the Executive Board will recommend to the <br />Sheriff three candidates to be considered for the position of Drug Task Force Commander. Candidates <br />for the Drug Task Force Commander position must demonstrate a strong leadership skill set, the ability <br />to build consensus, and direct the efforts of a multi-agency team to achieve established goals. He or she <br />must meet the performance objectives set by the Executive Board and the Sheriff. The Sheriff will select <br />the Drug Task Force Commander from the three recommended candidates. <br />The initial commitment of service is four years, with the option of a year <br />by year extension after that period. The Sheriff shall consult with the Executive Board before authorizing <br /> <br />
