Shop fabrication. 7 <br /> 8 <br />A certification of materials origin will be required for all items comprised of, or containing, 9 <br />steel or iron construction materials prior to such items being incorporated into the 10 <br />permanent work. The Contractor will not receive payment until the certification is received 11 <br />by the Engineer. The certification shall be on WSDOT Form 350 -109 provided by the 12 <br />Engineer, or such other form the Contractor chooses, provided it contains the same 13 <br />information as WSDOT Form 350-109. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Manufactured Products 16 <br />Due to a nationwide waiver, BABA requirements do not apply to manufactured products. 17 <br />Manufactured products that contain steel and iron, regardless of a nationwide waiver, will 18 <br />follow β€œSteel and Iron Requirements” of this Specification. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Construction Material Requirements 21 <br />A Contractor provided certification of materials origin will be required before each 22 <br />progress estimate or payment. The Contractor will not receive payment until the 23 <br />certification is received by the Engineer. The Contractor shall certify that all construction 24 <br />materials installed during the current progress estimate period meets the Build America, 25 <br />Buy America Act.
