(GeoEngineers) is pleased to present the following scope and fee estimate to the City <br />of Everett (City) for the Year 7 (2025) monitoring of Diking District No. 5’s (DID5) Smith Island Advance <br />Mitigation Site (AMS). <br />Following submission of the Year 5 (2023) Mitigation Monitoring Report1, GeoEngineers, along with the City <br />and DID5, presented results and methods of analysis to Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) <br />and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in a virtual meeting on July 1, 2024. This scope <br />and fee estimate is based on previous work on the stie, the results of the July 1, 2024, meeting with <br />agencies, comments on the Year 5 Mitigation Monitoring Report and discussions with DID5 and the City. <br />The scope and free estimate includes a contingency task (Task 500) to cover unanticipated additional <br />services on an as-needed basis and will require written authorization from the City to be activated. <br />Scope of Services <br />TASK 100 – PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND AGENCY COORDINATION <br />GeoEngineers will provide communications of schedule and overall progress of the project, as needed, and <br />provide contract administration including file set up, contract processing, monthly budget review, progress <br />report and invoice preparation. <br /> <br />1 GeoEngineers Inc.. 2023.
