A ORDINANCE NO . 1919 1 An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Nassau street 2 from the south line of Pacific Avenue to the north end of the bridg 3 at thirty-third (33rd) street, by grading, construction of a twenty- 4 four foot concrete pavement and concrete curbs, installaWtion of 5 necessary drainage and doing all other work necessary to make a co:n- 6 plete improvement, creating an assessment district , creating a Local 7 Improvement District Fund therefor, providing that payment for said 8 improvement be made by special assessment on the property in said 9 District under the mode of payment by bonds. 10 Whereas , a majority petition of the property owners petition- 11 ing for said improvement has heretofor been filed with the Commiss- f ound 12 ioner of Public Storks, and said Commissioner has filet the things 13 set forth in said petition to be true, and 14 6 nereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has filed with the 15 City Council all data and information in regard to said improvement 16 as required by law, and 17 Whereas, said Commissioner of Public Works has recommended to 18 the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made, and 19 it appearing to the City 'ouncil that public convenience and nec- 20 essity requires such improvement to be made, now therefore 21 THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 22 Section 1 : That Nassau street from the south line of Pacific 23 Avenue to the north end of the bridge at thirty-third (33rd) street 24 be improved by grading, construction of a twenty-four foot concrete 25 pavement and concrete curbs, installation of necessary drainage, and 26 doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement , ace- 27 or ding to the plans and specifications prepared under the direction 28 of the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby 29 adopted and approved. 30 31 .1-
