* * <br /> A. • <br /> ORDINANCE No . 1915 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 An ordinance appropriating out of the General Fund of Everett , <br /> 3 a municipal corporation, the sum of Five Hundred ( $$500.00) Dollars, <br /> 4 for the purpose of establishing a venereal disease clinic in the <br /> 5 Health Department of the said City of Everett . <br /> 6 THE CITY OF EVEEETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 7 Section 1 : That the sum of Five Hundred ( $500.00 ) Dollars <br /> 8 shall be, and is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund of <br /> 9 Everett for the establishment of a venereal disease clinic in the <br /> 10 Health Department of said City. <br /> 11 <br /> Section 2: That said Five Hundred ( $500.00 ) Dollars be paid to <br /> 12 <br /> the State Board of Health of the State of Washington, conditioned, <br /> 13 <br /> that the said State Board of Health expends said Five Hundred ($,500. <br /> 14 <br /> 00) Dollars in the venereal disease clinic department of the City of <br /> 15 <br /> Everett , and secures from the United States Government a like amount <br /> 16 <br /> of Five Hundred ( $500.00) Dollars, thereby making a total sum of <br /> 17 <br /> One Thousand ( $1000 .00) Dollars to be used in establishing a venereal <br /> 18 <br /> disease clinic in the Health Department of the City of Everett . <br /> 19 <br /> Section 3 : The City Treasurer of Everett is hereby authorized <br /> 20 <br /> and directed, upon the passage and approval of this ordinance, to <br /> 21 <br /> draw a warrant on the General Fund for the said sum of Five Hundred <br /> 22 <br /> ($,k500.00) Dollars, and made payable to the State Board of Health, of <br /> 23 <br /> the State of Washington. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Section 4: An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance <br /> 26 shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> 27 ____ • H• Cl ay <br /> Mayor. <br /> 28 Passed: .uare __ 3„19CC <br /> 29 Attest <br /> 30 City Clerk. <br /> 31 <br /> Published: <br />
