lk <br /> and pounds. <br /> 1 <br /> 2 Section 3 : For the purpose of this ordinance the licensed capac- <br /> 3 ity shall mean the capacity as rated by the manufacturer of the <br /> 4 vehicle. <br /> 5 Section 4: Every person, corporation or association operating <br /> 6 any motor truck or trailer or motor truck and trailer over the public <br /> ? streets of the City of Everett, as set out in Section 1 , shall first <br /> 8 pay into the City Treasurer of the City of Everett an occupation tax <br /> 9 per annum, ands <br /> procure a license therefor from the City Clerl, as <br /> 10 follows : <br /> 11 MOTOR TRUCKS <br /> 12 c 41.1-.414L <br /> 13 Weighing 1500 pounds or less . . 010.00 <br /> 14 Weighing more than 1500 pounds and not to exceed 6500 pounds, <br /> 15 $10 .00, and forty cents per hundred weight for all in excess of 1500 <br /> 16 pounds and in addition thereto forty cents per hundred weight at the <br /> 17 rated capacity load. <br /> 18 Weighing more than 6500 pounds, $10.00, and fifty cents per hun- <br /> 19 dred weight for all in excess of 1500 pounds and in addition thereto <br /> 20 fifty cents per hundred weight at the rated capacity load. <br /> 21 Trailers used as trucks shall be classified and rated as, and <br /> 22 shall pay the same fee as hereinbefore provided for motor trucks of <br /> 23 like weight and capacity. <br /> 24 Section It shall be unlawful for any nyvehicleof a carrying <br /> 25 capacity of 2 tons and under tons to be driven at a p Y 3 A speed faster <br /> 26 than at the rate of 15 miles per hour. <br /> 27 Vehicles of a capacity of 3 tons and under 4 tons shall not be <br /> 28 driven faster than 14 miles per hour. <br /> 29 Vehicles of a capacity of 4 tons and under 5 tons, shall not be <br /> 30 driven faster than 12 miles per hour. <br /> 31 Vehicles of a capacity of 5 tons and over at a rate of speed not <br /> -2- <br />
