Exhibit A (Scope of Work) <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />2025-2026 On-Call Surveying Services <br />1. The Contractor agrees to furnish the service of a licensed professional land surveyor <br />(PLS) and appropriate technical/survey field personnel to provide on-call survey services <br />for the City as defined by the Task Assignment Scope of Services. <br />2. The survey crew shall work on an “as Required” basis only, as determined by the City’s <br />Project Manager or Construction Engineer. If the Contractor is not in a position to <br />provide the survey crew at the time requested by the City, the Contractor may decline <br />the request without prejudice. <br />3. Prior to mutual acceptance of a task assignment, the Contractor will prepare a written <br />itemized cost estimate for the requested services. This cost estimate shall include all <br />field hours, travel expenses, office time, and associated recording fees as appropriate to <br />the task. <br />4. The survey crew shall be supervised by a licensed PLS and shall coordinate with Project <br />Manager or Construction Engineer, as required, to ensure all required surveying in the <br />task assignment is performed as requested by the City. <br />5. All survey drawings, notes, cross sections, and profiles shall be provided in Autodesk <br />“.DWG” format, in accordance with the most recent edition of the City of Everett <br />“Standards Manual for Civil CAD and Graphics.” Civil 3D AEC objects such as surfaces, <br />shall be delivered in their native format. <br />6. The Surveyor shall schedule and meet with the City Engineering Resources Manager <br />prior to beginning any survey work to establish site access, survey Datum, currently <br />Washington State Plane – North Zone – US Survey feet, horizontal control and <br />monumentation, required standards, and electronic delivery method. This meeting is <br />required for each task assignment. <br />7. PDF file formatted to print full size at 22” x 34” and digitally signed. <br />8. Other survey deliverables typically include: <br />a. Point file in “.csv” format that include point #, northing, easting, elevation, and <br />description (PNEZD). <br />b. Land XML files if Autodesk format was not used to generate the surface. <br />c. Digital terrain model file (e.g. DTM, DEM, etc.) generated from the assigned work. <br /> <br />
