Itemized letter addressing the comments provided below. <br /> b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings. <br /> c. Two copies of supplemental structural calculations (if applicable). <br /> Submittal documents should contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project <br /> for compliance with the adopted building codes. Upon submittal of the revised documents, your <br /> application will be given priority and the review will recommence. <br /> Architectural <br /> 1. The project is trying to convert existing pool house (not a dwelling unit) into an ADU. Per <br /> IRC 202 Definition, dwelling unit is a single unit providing complete, independent living <br /> facilities for one or more persons, including permanent provisions for living, sleeping, <br /> eating, cooking and sanitation. Please provide complete kitchen for this ADU, where people <br /> can cook meals. And please also provide local exhaust for the kitchen per IRC 1505.4.4(1). <br /> 2. It appears that the water closet wall clear width is less than 30". Per IRC 307.1, 15" <br /> distance on each side to the centerline of the water closet shall be provided. Please update <br /> drawing accordingly. <br /> 3. Please add note based on IRC 314.4 about some detector and CO alarm interconnectivity. <br /> 4. Egress window needs more information about the operable part. Is it sliding? Single hung? <br /> Swing? <br /> 5. Whole house ventilation shall be provided based on IRC M1505.4.3(1). Please note CFM, <br /> continuous vs intermittent, 1.0 sone max on the floor plan. <br /> Structural <br /> 1. The new entry door is 2"wider than existing door. Any construction changes? How this 2" <br /> gap be filled? Please illustrate accordingly. <br /> 2. Will the new egress window, same size, same location/height like the existing window? <br /> Please confirm. <br /> This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and <br /> amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made <br /> during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit <br /> requirements.
