January 8, 2025 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />NOMINATIONS - COUNCIL PRESIDENT / MAYOR PRO TEMPORE AND VICE-PRESIDENT FOR THE <br />YEAR 2025 <br /> <br />President Schwab opened the nominations for Council President/Mayor Pro Tempore for the <br />year 2025. <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Bader, to nominate Council <br />Member Schwab, as President/Mayor Pro Tempore for the year 2025. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Rhyne who voted <br />no. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />President Schwab opened the nominations for Council Vice President for the year 2025. <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Schwab, to nominate Council <br />Member Zarlingo, as Council Vice President for the year 2025. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Members Rhyne and Vogeli <br />who voted no. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />CONTRACT AWARD - FULTON STREET BICYCLE PEDESTRIAN CORRIDOR <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Zarlingo, award the <br />Construction Contract to Earthwork Solutions, LLC. of Arlington, WA in the amount of <br />$663,840.07 for the Fulton Street Bicycle Pedestrian Corridor and deny bid protest by Always <br />Active Services. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL 2411-41 <br /> <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING:
