NEUDORFER
ENGINEERS
AN integm COMPANY
by subtracting the material storage airflow from the stack airflow. The inlet airflows were measured by
pitot tube traverse. Many of the locations were located near bends and elbows, so there may be some
error associated with the measurements compared with total airflow traverses. It was determined that a
damper position of 30% provides the design airflow at the material storage and bypass. See test data
below.
Transfer Fan
The transfer fan was set to a supply flow setpoint of 640 CFM to induce a negative material storage
pressure of-0.02" relative to surrounding space. See test data below.
General Notes
• All final balancing damper positions were marked with indelible pen.
• All control overrides were release and the systems were returned to normal operation.
• Operating Amperage and Voltage was recorded from the VFD display for all air systems utilizing
VFD's for speed control.
• The operating electrical measurements for the fan/motor for amperage and voltage, were taken
directly from the VFD display, are reported a single measurement for electrical terminal T-1.
Hyperlink to Table of Contents
