Page 7 of 54 <br />These presentations are currently scheduled for the afternoon of the following dates in 2025: <br />February 4, March 4, April 8, May 6, June 10, July 8, September 9, October 30, November 4, and <br />December 2. The City may also request additional training for staff to be scheduled at a later date. <br />The presentation must include, at a minimum, the following information: <br /> Meal prepping for shift work. <br /> Anatomy of healthy eating. <br /> Eating healthy on-the-go. <br />The supplier must be willing to alter their presentation or appointments based on employee <br />feedback. <br />B. Individual Appointments: The supplier will be expected to provide individual appointments to officers <br />and civilian staff virtually or in person during the 2025-2026 calendar year. Each individual will receive <br />an initial hour-long appointment and two (2) minimum thirty-minute-long follow-up appointments. <br />During these appointments, the supplier may discuss the following with the individual: <br /> Goals the individual looks to achieve. <br /> Medical and nutrition history and knowledge level. <br /> Current food intake and lifestyle choices. <br /> Creation of a nutritional plan. <br />Suppliers must be able to tailor their recommendations to the individual's lifestyle, preferences, and <br />needs. <br />2.5 SUPPLIER EXPERIENCE <br />Required Experience: The supplier must be certified in Washington State as a Dietitian or Nutritionist. <br />Preferred Experience: The ideal nutritionist would have and demonstrate experience in the following <br />areas. <br /> Presenting to groups. <br /> Walking clients through successful behavior change. <br /> Working with shift workers at a minimum, such as nurses, first responders, police officers, or <br />veterans. <br /> Working with clients suffering from trauma. <br /> Treating cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes or pre-diabetes, weight management, <br />digestive disorders, emotional eating, and co-morbid mental health conditions such as depression, <br />anxiety, and PTSD. <br /> Accredited with Regence or Healthcare Management Administrators (HMA) insurance, or able to be <br />credentialed with Regence.
