• • <br /> IPMC 108.1.1 Unsafe structure <br /> An unsafe structure is one that is found to be dangerous to the life, health,property or safety of the public or <br /> the occupants of the structure by not providing minimum safeguards to protect or warn occupants in the <br /> event of fire, or because such structure contains unsafe equipment or is so damaged, decayed, dilapidated, <br /> structurally unsafe or of such faulty construction or unstable foundation, that partial or complete collapse is <br /> possible. <br /> IPMC 108.1.4 Unlawful structure. <br /> An unlawful structure is one found in whole or in part to be occupied by more persons than permitted under <br /> this code, or was erected, altered or occupied contrary to law. <br /> IBC 105.1 Permits Required. <br /> Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish or change <br /> the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair,remove, convert or replace <br /> any electrical,gas, mechanical or plumbing system, the installation of which is regulated by this code, or to <br /> cause any such work to be done,shall first make application to the building official and obtain the required <br /> permit. <br /> To resolve these property violations the following corrective actions are required: <br /> 1. City of Everett Public Works Department Permits and/or City of Everett Building Department Permits are <br /> required for the property structure unpermitted demolition removal of the exterior back,ground level <br /> paver stairs. <br /> NOTE READ: <br /> No property structure demolition and/or no property structure exterior back,ground level paver stairs are <br /> to be performed without and/or before the issuance of City of Everett, Public Works Department <br /> permits,and/or Building Department permits. <br /> 2. Apply for and obtain all of the necessary and required permits and approvals to bring the structure into <br /> compliance with the Everett Municipal Code.Then correct and complete all of the deficiencies that are <br /> present within the structure and have the work inspected and approved, by the Everett City building <br /> Division. Information on the City of Everett permit application process and required documents can be <br /> found at www.everettwa.gov/permits <br /> 3. The property structure exterior back, ground level paver stairs are required by the City of Everett Public <br /> Works Department permits to have the work inspected and approved by staff from the City of Everett, <br /> Public Works Department,Permit Services. <br /> 4.
