The project was completed at a total cost of $209,866. All expenses for the project have been paid. The remaining balance of $40,134 will be transferred to CIP-3. Project summary statement: This project made enhancements to the existing asphalt trail, removed encroaching tree roots, leveled picnic areas, and installed 6 benches. Understory vegetation alongside the trail was enhanced with native plantings. Root barrier was installed alongside sections of the trail to prevent future root invasion. All work has been completed to the satisfaction of the Parks and Facilities Department.
