There will be no change to the grant amount or scope. Washington Department <br />of Ecology is providing grant funding in the amount of $714,750 and the City of Everett <br />is providing matching funds of $650,250, for total programmed available funding of <br />$1,365,000. <br />Project summary statement: <br />The project will construct a stormwater treatment facility along 3rd Avenue SE, north of <br />SE Everett Mall Way. The proposed facility will treat runoff from approximately 45 acres <br />of currently untreated land prior to discharge to North Creek. The project includes <br />construction of a Filterra Bioscapes® facility at the corner of 3rd Avenue SE and 97th Pl <br />SE, a pretreatment vault at 98th Pl SE, associated stormwater system pipes and <br />structures, and restoration of pavement, sidewalks, and adjacent properties to pre- <br />project conditions. <br />A construction contract was awarded by Council and recently signed. Construction will <br />have begun by the time this reaches the council agenda. <br /> <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to Grant Agreement No. WQC-2022- <br />EverPW-00085 with the Washington Department of Ecology. <br />
