The source of the funds for the project is Fund 342, Program 049. Total cost for the project is estimated at $100,000. Project summary statement: The Animal Shelter HVAC controls are at the end of their useful life and need updating. Facilities currently has temporary solutions in place to keep the building functioning, but to maintain long term occupational and building function an update is needed. This project will replace building controllers and update software so that remote access is possible for maintenance and ensure the HVAC system functions as intended. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Adopt an Ordinance creating a Special Improvement Project entitled “Animal Shelter HVAC Controls Update”, Fund 342, Program 049 to accumulate all costs for the project.
